If you catch Speckled Trout on a fly we have a special division for you. We will give two $1,500 gift cards to Academy Sports + Outdoors. The heaviest trout caught in the East Region and the heaviest trout caught in the West division will be declared the winner.

If you fish from a kayak and catch speckled trout, we give away a new Bonafide P-127 Kayak, to the heaviest fish in each of the 4 divisions across the state. Ladies this division is especially for you. The female with the largest speckled trout on the east and the west wins a $2,500 travel voucher to go on a vacation wherever you want. Calcutta is a type of “side bet.” This division is designed for the Big Lake angler that has a big speckled trout but probably won’t last on the leaderboard. So you can bring it to one of the two participating weigh stations, have the fish weighed and released alive to be entered into the Calcutta. If you want to increase your chances of winning, enter your kids and grandkids. It is free for them to enter with their CCA membership and all they have to do is catch a trout or a Sheepshead over 14 inches. Once they catch a fish you can bring it to a weigh station or just send a picture of the fish on a ruler with the participant and email it to the CCA office. Once the child and their fish have submitted their catch, their name will be put into a hopper and 4 lucky anglers will win a brand new boat, motor, and trailer packages.
